Big Pine Trailhead -
Starting in town at a 4,000 foot elevation the road winds up the mountain to the roads end at Glacier Lodge at an elevation of 7,800 feet. As you drive the 11 miles you will see the Big Pine Creek that snakes up the mountain. There are many places to pull over and drop a line in the creek and if you're lucky you might land a beautiful Rainbow Trout or just sit creekside and enjoy the peace and serenity as you eat your lunch.
